Presently he is working as Chairman, Shaikh Zayed Medical Institute, Dean, Federal Postgraduate Medical Institute, Director, National Health Research Council, Principal, Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Medical & Dental College, Head & Prof. Division of Plastic Surgery, Shaikh Zayed Hospital; these are one of the highest responsibilities in Health Sector in Pakistan. Before joining this, he has served as Chairman & Prof. of Plastic Surgery, King Edward Medical University & Mayo Hospital for 7 years, one of the most prestigious & oldest medical institutes in Pakistan. He also served as Registrar, King Edward Medical University for more than 4 years. Being a world renowned Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon he is a visiting Consultant in Surgimed Hospital, Al-Razi Health Care, Shaukat Khanam Memorial Caner and Research Hospital, Lahore and Harley Health Village, London.

He is an overseas tutor for FRCS and MRCS by Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, and presently he is a Supervisor and Head examiner for FCPS and MS Plastic Surgery for Pakistan. He is supervising training of about thirty post graduates for their MRCS, FCPS and MS and 22 postgraduates in plastic surgery have completed their training under his supervision.

He has the honour of establishing the largest Plastic Surgery unit in Pakistan and the only Burn Unit in Mayo Hospital, Lahore, which is the only functioning Burn Centre for whole of Punjab.

He is one of the most extensively published Professor in Pakistan with author of one booklet and a contributor of another book “Hand Surgery” and more than 100 publication & presentations are to his credit both nationally and internationally.

His areas of special interest are Rhinoplasty & Breast Augmentation in cosmetic Surgery, Cleft, & Microvascular surgery in Reconstructive surgery.His number of cases of Rhinoplasty can match with any Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon in the world.
