SFINHS (Sheikha Fatima Institute of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences) was established in 1992 as 4th component of Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore to meet the increasing demand of Nurses, Medical Technologist undergraduate & postgraduate and other Paramedics from all over the country. Since the inspection of the institute, it has been fulfilling all its objectives. Performance of the institute has been outstanding. The institute is still striving for the excellence both in professional training and planning competence. We look forward to provide highly skilled nurses perfect in all respect that in every field within Pakistan and abroad. SFINHS was establishing with General Nursing Diploma Program. Midwifery diploma was started in 1997. BSc Nursing Degree program was started in 2008, initial affiliation with Punjab University Lahore with 25 seats. School of Nursing was upgraded to College of Nursing by PNC in 2016 and in the same year PNC approved 25 seats of B.Sc. nursing Degree program, affiliation with University of Health Sciences, Lahore. In 2020, Pakistan Nursing Council enhanced 75 seats for BSc Generic 4year Degree Program. To upgrade the nursing education General nursing diploma has been ceased in 2018 by Pakistan Nursing Council. In 2018 Pakistan Nursing Council approved for 40 seats of Post RN BSc (Nursing two-year program), affiliated with University of Health Sciences Lahore.
